 THREAD ROLLING FLAT DIES
MPTPL manufactured Thread Rolling Flat Dies in Ground Thread Form for production thread rolling of automobile, structural, industrial, and hardware fasteners. Fasteners made of Mild steel, Stainless steel, Alloy steel and brass etc. can be thread rolled with these dies.
MPT Thread Rolling Flat Dies are usually made from selected grade of Cold Work Tool Steel. Dies are carefully machined. Care is given on heat-treatment of dies which is done in Microprocessor controlled electric furnaces. Threads are formed on World class Thread Grinding Machines carefully minimizing any type of stress on material. Thread profiles are kept as per Standards and are checked utilizing Profile projectors and Comparators.

MPT Flat Thread rolling Dies are made for Dies Maximum Length upto 310 mm. MPT dies are made for all standard machine blocks. Dies are made for all makes of Thread Rolling machines such as SASPI, WATERBURY FARREL, NKW, NISSAI and other machines as per requirement. MPT Ground Dies have correct Dimensional Accuracy, Profile comparable to standards and good life, Dies are supplied in Ground Shining Finish and Grit Blaster Finish, as per requirement.
INFORMATION REQUIRED WHILE ORDERING MPT THREAD ROLLING FLAT DIES.
SECTION OF DIES: Dimensions of Stationary and Moving dies e.g. 12”x11”x4”x2” means 12” and 11” being lengths of both dies, 4” height and 2”, the thickness of both dies.
DIAMETER AND THREAD PITCH ALONG WITH STANDARD OF ROLLABLE
FASTENER: Diameter of Fasteners and its pitch along with standard e.g. 1” UNC means Diameter of 1” having threading of 8tpi in Unified Standard.
HOLDING ANGLE (0 or 5): Being style of clamping on machines, mention if holding angle is required on ends of dies.
FINISH OF DIES: Mention if needed fully Grit blasted, Natural Shining or Grit blasted only on Lead in and Run offs. MPT recommends and manufacture dies usually fully Grit blasted to avoid slipping of dies and easy setting of dies and easy setting and long life.
MPTPL also undertake REGRINDING of used Thread Rolling Flat Dies leasing new life to worn out dies at very reasonable rates.
